THE CARDIOPULMONARY DEPARTMENT AT EMANUEL MEDICAL CENTER

The Cardiopulmonary Services Department (CPS) is located in the basement of the building directly across from the elevators.  The department serves Outpatients, the Emergency Room, Med / Surg I and II, Pediatrics, OB and Intensive Care.  The CPS department director has a 24 hour a day operational responsibility for the department.  It is staffed with a director and a mix of RRTs and one Echo Tech.  The CPS department is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays and weekends.  All services at the disposal of CPS will be utilized to provide optimal care to our patients without risk or delay.  Our services include, ABG’S, EKG’S, HHN, O₂, Pulse Ox, Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring, Ventilator Care, CPT, Incentive Spiratory, CPR, Intubation, PFT’s and Echo’s.
