Emanuel Medical Center's full-service Laboratory provides in-house laboratory testing for approximately 95% of all tests ordered by area physicians.   We offer laboratory testing in blood bank, serology, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, hematology and chemistry.  This on-site testing is done by a highly qualified, certified, technical staff using some of the most modern instruments available. Unusual or low volume tests are sent to an outside reference lab.

The lab is staffed 24 hours per day 365 days per year to support Emergency and Inpatient needs.

Outpatient services are also provided.  The outpatient drawing area, located at the front of the hospital, near registration, is open from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday, except on holidays.
