The radiology department, under the direction of a board-certified radiologist and registered radiologic technologists, uses extremely sensitive and highly sophisticated diagnostic equipment to help your doctor in the evaluation of your condition. All x-ray examinations are made at the request of your attending physician and the results are reported only to him.

Emanuel Medical Center offers a complete service in radiology, computerized axial tomography, (CAT) scanner, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, bone density, sterotactic breast biopsy and mammography.

The department is staffed with fully trained registered technologists. This department is covered, on an emergency basis, 24 hours a day.
