The pharmacy staff at Emanuel Medical Center is responsible for overseeing medication use at the hospital and associated clinics. The pharmacist participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team to take care of the patients at EMC.

• Dispensing of unit dose medications in unit of use whenever possible
   
• IV additive service
   
• Patient teaching regarding medication use
   
• Drug information to health care providers
   
• Clinical consultation as it relates to medication therapy
