Our Mission:
The mission of The Foundation of Emanuel Medical
Center is to assist Emanuel Medical Center in providing
patient focused healthcare which exceed the expectations
of the people we serve.
Our
Purpose:
The purpose for The Foundation of Emanuel Medical
Center is to further Emanuel Medical Center’s Mission
for providing resources with donations received that
will benefit the community in healthcare services
delivered both now and in the future.
The
Foundation:
Officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) on Friday November
21, 2003, The Foundation of Emanuel Medical Center was
formed to help the expanding hospital on a variety of
levels. Having a formally recognized foundation allows
Emanuel Medical Center, a nonprofit facility, to receive
grants and other monies that it previously did not have
access to. This money will be used, in turn, for medical
technology and research, as well as better patient care
and customer service.
In addition to
grants, the foundation also makes it easy for community
members to give to the hospital. All donations are now
officially tax-deductible.
"We're really
excited about the possibilities that a recognizable
foundation awards us. It gives us the resources and
capital to take Emanuel Medical Center to a higher
level, which most importantly, helps us in obtaining our
greater goal of providing patient focused healthcare
services which exceed the expectations of the people we
serve."

Your gift provides resources for capital improvement
projects which otherwise may not have available funding.
