- Job Description
Under general direction of Director of Engineering the security officer is responsible for monitoring all areas of EMC hospital, Clinics and Nursing Home in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Monitors parking facilities and pedestrian and vehicle traffic in accordance with department and EMC policy. The security officer is an employee of Emanuel Medical Center and is expected to follow the policies and procedures of the facility. The Security Office answers to the Director Engineering.

Education: A high school diploma or GED
License: None required
Experience: Prior security and training experience is desired
