Georgia taxpayers can receive a state income tax credit for 100% of the amount they contribute to qualified rural hospitals, such as Emanuel Medical Center. That means that you can send your state income tax dollars directly to Emanuel Medical Center to help your family, friends, and neighbors.
Your contribution to Emanuel Medical Center through Georgia HEART will be used for facility improvements, equipment upgrades, and service expansions to better serve the community. Contributions will benefit not only Emanuel Medical Center, but also the Emanuel County Nursing Home and EMC clinics.
If you pay Georgia income taxes, you are eligible to receive a 100% state income tax credit for your contribution to Emanuel Medical Center. Note that this is not a tax deduction, but rather a dollar-for-dollar tax credit.
Individual Filer – up to $5,000
Married Filing Separately – up to $5,000
